The Black Capped Chickadee Found only in the mountains of the Northwest. Known for its black cap and black bib. Identified also by its rustier sides, white feather edges on wing and whiter patches. Sexes are similar and the young are like adults. Their whistled song is easily imitated; second note is 1 full tone lower lasting 16-23 min.
